This was the first thing I made on the Aegis Descent Project . It was something that didn't have a concept so it was fun to just whip something up and do some creative problem solving around variable use while mocking up animation possibilities. Device animation shown was done by Javid Ali (https://www.artstation.com/snonepe), who did great on these. Model utilized some kitbashing and ultimately was a lot of shared/mirrored UVs as it was a small on screen asset.
This was also my first project transitioning to texturing in Toolbag when those features came out.
